Oregon Power Solutions, Inc was formed in October 2003 and has quickly established itself as a principle resource for feasibility analysis, consulting and project management for wind power installations. We are one of the premier installers of MET Towers in the United States having installed over 200 towers of all types.
Oregon Power Solutions is an active participant in the Oregon and Idaho wind working groups and has a representative on the Baker County Power Generation Task Force. Oregon Power Solutions is one of the five entities certified by the Energy Trust of Oregon as a "qualified consultant" for landowner assistance on Value Added and other grants. We have also been endorsed by Oregon Department of Energy as qualified to perform studies and assessments for landowners throughout Oregon. To date, we have had a nearly 90% success rate in obtaining Value-Added and Section 9006 grants from the USDA.
Beginning in 2007 we started development on 4 community-scale wind projects in Eastern Oregon. We believe that we have developed a superior business model that offers a higher return on investment for our equity investors while providing the potential for significantly higher revenue per tower for landowners.
